About Me
After serving 35 years in the banking profession, I turned fully to my lifelong passion—painting. My journey, however, was not without storms. Diabetes, high blood pressure, and the battle with COVID-19 in 2020 nearly silenced me forever. Cataract surgeries and prolonged illness left me weak, yet my spirit refused to give up. With my family’s love, divine grace, and the healing force of art, I rose again.
Every landscape I paint is a celebration of survival, a reflection of the peace and light that return after darkness. Mountains, rivers, trees, skies—these are not just scenes, they are metaphors of resilience. In them, I find the rhythm of recovery, the whisper of hope, and the eternity of beauty.
I choose to focus on naturescapes, where my heart feels most at home. Like Michael James Smith of the UK and Andrew Tischler of New Zealand, I seek realism infused with soul. My brush honors the Indian landscape while echoing universal feelings of serenity and endurance.
For me, art is not just technique; it is prayer, meditation, and healing. Every canvas carries the testimony of survival—proof that even after illness and hardship, one can create beauty and meaning. My “second innings” in art is dedicated to leaving behind not only paintings but also an example: that resilience can be turned into color, and struggle into light.
